Hello Everyone,
Ref. '66 L-72
A question regarding exhaust manifold gaskets. I know there should not be gaskets between the cyl. head and the exh. manifold, but I have my exh. manifold done by J. MacNeish and there is the aluminun spray on the machined surfaces where they mate with the head. Jerry recommends the use of gaskets and trim them so they can't be seen. I'd really like to keep it correct and not use gaskets, therefore, asking if anyone has had experience with MacNeish's treated manifolds w/o gaskets etc.
Thank you for your help.
Kurt
