Workin' on the 63. Was going through the JG. In glove box contents, it lists both a Warranty Booklet AND the Owners Protection Plan among the contents.
Can't say I ever recall seeing a Warranty Booklet. Thought the Owners Protection Plan and the Warranty Booklet were one and the same. Thoughts? TIA. Chuck

Thanks Mike. That's what I thought. I've been away from the 63 for some time. I'm now working on it, and going through the JG. That item, and lots of other items caught my attention.
There are LOTS of changes in the JG between the latest and previous editions. There are Lots of things that I question in the latest manual.
BTW, are you the same Michael Hanson I spoke with several years ago about GK Chevrolet in Downers Grove, Illinois? Chuck

I do vaguely remember the conversation and I must be the same Michael Hanson because Downers Grove is my home town. I bought my very first new Corvette from GK Chevrolet in 1964. If I remember correctly, you had a black/black 66 425 HP conv and there was something about a repair sticker on the radio that tied your car to GK?
I haven't seen the latest 63 JG so I don't know much about any changes that have been made. I really need to buy one, just never get around to doing it. Good luck with your project.
About half right, Mike. Big George Wronoski had the 66BB. I had/still have the 69 BB 427/400 Monaco Orange convertible that was sold at GK, Zone 11 Dealer 227. I was trying to find the original owner....haven't done it yet.
Big George still works at GK, now Bill Kay. Has been there since 1969. I helped him trace his 66 back to Pittsburgh...Book? Chevrolet in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh, as I recall. Chuck

Mike, You are not confusing Chuck with my 1966 Black/Black L72, with a radio repair reference to a B. Bartolo at Henderson Pontiac, are you? You emailed me around Nov, 2000, after seeing my request for owner history on the Yankee Lady website. BTW, no luck on any further info, on the car since them. Dave
Ok, I remember your car now. I get points for getting part of the test correct tho, right? I see Dave posted (below) and refreshed my memory on the black 66.
Next time you talk to big George, say hi for me and ask him who arranged the job at GK for him back in the 60's. Wasn't his 66 a maroon/black 425 HP?
Yes, I had the two cars mixed up. I now remember the story on your 66. If I remember correctly, the radio repair tag had the name and address of a Downers Grove radio repair shop about a block away from GK Chevrolet? I still don't remember that car from the area and a black/black 425 HP conv would have been memoriable.
