    Carburator Help & ID

I have a 1966 roadster with 327/300 with A.I.R. I have been causually looking around for the correct carb for my car. Through the discussion board I have made notes when I thought something pertained to my car. There is a carb on
e-bay that has the following information. Need some help ID'ing.
The LIST is 3605 but I have noted R3605A. Does the R & A mean anything or is just the 3605 the most important?
The part # is 389Q499DP. I think the Q should be a "0" Is the DP correct?
The date code is 5B3..Does this mean 3rd week of Dec. 1965? I think it will fit in with my March '66 build date.
Any help, comments, suggestions etc is always appreciated. This thing goes off soon so any quick help I can get is greatful Thank You

    Don,

Looks perfect for your March, 66 Corvette 327/300 or 350 w/AIR.
Correct Part number is 3890499 DP. The A means no revisions, they all have R before the list per the Holley manual. You are correct in the date code. You could have 594 to 624 and still be correct for a 3/66 car.

Go for it. If you answer this post with the ebay # or email me it, I'll take a look at the condition for you. Promise I won't bid on it, I have a 67.
