C-3, gas pedals

Were all of the gas pedals molded plastic on the '68-'82 Corvettes? I see authentic GM ones for sale, reproductions for sale, original ones for sale. What distinguishes one from the other?

I think that probably all three are one and the same. For the low cost of GM pedals, I would doubt that anyone has undertaken the cost of reproducing them. The 68-72 and 73-82 pedals are about $7.00 each, as far as I know from GM

I have heard talk that pedals are different in respect that they are taperedn on one end and i have an automatic one i got from a yard and it is very tiny in respect to the manual , post again and you will maybe get the answers you require

There are two styles. 1968-71 was one with the stainless trim applied around the edges. The smaller tapered-end style began with the 1972 model and goes through at least 1976, maybe even later.
