'60 Rear Spring & Shock Mount Plate

I am in the process of putting my rear sway bar back on my '60. I am replacing an aftermarket traction bar setup. The sway bar mounting studs on the spring/shock plate were cut off. How long are these studs supposed to be? Also, were lock washers used under the nuts on the U-bolts. Appreciate any input or thoughts.

    Louie...

You can acquire new rear spring mount plates with the stabilizer studs from paragon. May be the best way to go...it will save a lot of time messing around.
