    81' Electric Door Locks

Hi, I have an 81 corvette with electric door locks that don't work. I've checked every fuse, all look good. I took the door panels off and found the driver side had some bad connections, fixed those (prior to fixing them I held them together and got the locks to move a few times.) The passenger side switch/wires looked good. Five wires run to each switch. 1 wire has power, 2 appear to be grounds, and the other 2 are to complete the circuit of power for the up/down of the switch.

I have a Chilton/Haynes/Clymer manual for the car but cannot find anything on the door locks or wiring diagrams for them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have a wiring diagram, but can provide this basic help, if you have already figured out which of those wires are hot, ground, etc: For paddle swicthes, when you push down, you are connecting the leads in the middle of the switch with the top leads. When you push up, you are connecting the middle and bottom leads. Of course a wiring diagram would provide more certainty, but if you can't get one, maybe that will help...
