    C5 RUNNING HOT ?

    MY CAR IS HEATING UP TO 225 DEGREES AT IDLE,FAN IS NOT KICKING ON. AT WHAT TEMPERATURE SHOULD THE FAN GO ON ? I DONT REMEMBER IT GOING ABOVE 195 DEGREES LAST YEAR. THANKS

      the second fan comes on at 230+ unless you have the A/C on and it will run all the time then. turn on the A/C and see if the second fan starts. also look from underneath at the rad to make sure you have not pick up any debis from the road. leaves and plastic bags have a habit of getting into the front of the rad
