    425 hp fuel block

Anyone know the correct finish of the 3 sided fuel block next to the carb on a 425 horse '66? Has inlet from pump, & 2 outlets to each carb float bowl. Is it cad/zinc plated, black phosphate plated, or brass? Also, are mid-year rear strut rods really natural as manual says, or painted SG black as I remember? Thanks..Bill #37754

I just asked the fuel block question about 10 days ago. Correct finish is zinc plated brass. Paragon (and probably other suppliers) have 'em. Don't know ans to strut rod finish. Regards, Larry

The strut rods were natural, as-forged finish. This finish will appear as "black" in some cases.
