1962 Powerglide

Will a 1966 Chevelle powerglide fit my 1962 Corvette? Is a 1964-66 Nova
Powerglide a fitwith out any mods to the car or the tranny.

Any Chevy year aluminum PG will fit, if the tail housing is the same length as a 62 Corvette, but you will need to use a Corvette tail housing to mount the shifter.

You should also be aware that the Corvette powerglide is constructed to handle 300HP. The powerglide from a Nova or Chevelle is not. There are some internal differences.
