Goodyear Polyglass-----is there a date code?

I have a Goodyear Polyglass GT G60 15 that appears to be near new. Is there anyway to determine what year this tire was produced? Thanks, G.

After 1968, tires were required to have DOT source code info embossed into the sidewall. For the first several years, the code/sequence was mfgr proprietary, but staring in 1971, the sequence was standardized into a 10-digit code with the last three digits representing month/year of mfgr. When the century rolled, the sequence was extended to 11-digits with the last four indicating month/year.
