C2 battery tray

Cannot seem to find this simple info in archives, AIM or LI Corvette catalog
in clear fashion: trying to change out battery tray on my 65 AC roadster, battery on drivers side. Where and how many screws to remove the tray? Thanks

Would probably be found under the C60 section of your AIM.

Condensed version: Disconnect battery, remove wheel and the inner fender panel. Remove battery and then tray. The tray is bolted to the frame rail.

6 bolts for C60/L78 (4 outboard frame; 2 inboard)

You can't see the inboards from the sketch in the AIM. You will probably have to also remove the outboard RH splash shield, to get the rearmost outer bolts.
