Engine stamp pad question

I am looking at a pad on a 66 L79 that appears to be stamped FO4I2HP. I understand this to be assembled at Flint 12 april and is a 350HP air conditioned car. My question is the 1 looks like an I. What should it be?

Letter 'i' was often used as numeral '1' in these stampings...

The letter "I"was used at thata time for the digit 1.

Not a problem - the "I" character was routinely used in place of the "1" character.

thanks for your help. I have what I think is an original engine, and my heart stopped when I saw the i. If I have the car judged will the i present a problem?
