....how it was. I'm thinking of going this year as I need some misc. parts. Was it worth the trip (ie; lots of cool stuff to look at and buy)?

I've been to Bloomington, and Orlando and Mid America, two years ago four buddies went to Carlisle from Florida in a rented motor home, we rented two spots for vendors, we all brought parts to sell. I thought Carlisle was far and away the best Corvette show/swap I have ever seen and staying on the grounds was the way to go, at least for us. Walk around, have a cold beer, walk around, have a cold beer, wal...well , I'm sure you get the picture, GO

Carlisle is incredibly awesome! The place is so huge and attracts so many many corvettes it's awe inspiring. The vendor area is quite large. If there's something your looking for parts wise and you don't find it at Carlisle, it probably just doesn't exist. And if it's an entire car you're hunting for, no other show will give you the volume of vettes to choose from.

Bob, I went this last year and it was well worth the 9 hour drive for me. I rate it away above Bloomington. Of course this is just my opinion,but I plan on going to both this next year.....Jack

According to my information, Corvettes at Carlisle for 2000 is scheduled for Aug. 25-27.
