Ran across a guy at a swap meet last weekend that said he was changing out the Corvette Blue flame six cylinder in his '60 Chevy he had installed 40 years ago (The car is being passed down to the son, who can't live with the six). The 60's origial six cylinder had died and a family friend gave him the Vette six cyl, the Vette getting a V8. Did the 6 cyl block have a stamped number like the V8's? I'm thinking of taking it off his hands as a gesture historic presevation and good will...
