    67 wiper blades

Does the 67 trico wiper blade have a 15 stamped on the top near the attachment with trico made in USA stamped on both ends?

The real McCoy factory original blade holders for '67 are a BUGGER to find! They're peaked and embossed simply 'TRICO' as were the equivalent flat-top holders from '63-66. Those with other embossed text (e.g. 'Made In USA' beneath 'Trico') are thought to be service replacement parts.

Del - I think you will find that the TRICO w/s/w holders w/ TRICO, MADE IN USA, and the 15(probably to designate 15") are the later TRICO 15" replacements that have a small flat top section with curved sides. The original configuration of the '67 TRICO w/s/w holders was such that the top came to a peak and there was not a defined flat section on the top. Regarding the information stamped on the top of each end ot the TRICO w/s/w/ holders be advised that there is no mention of what is or should be stamped on the top of the holders in the TIM&JG; although many judges are inclined to think that the only acceptable stamped information for 1967 Corvette TRICO w/s/w holders is TRICO; but I think you will find that this changed during the '67 production year and went from TRICO stamped on both ends, to TRICO on the bottom end and TRICO and MADE IN USA on the top end, to TRICO and MADE IN USA on both ends. May be other responses, but mine say "made in USA". I thought they were incorrect at our Waco Regional but the team leader and the wiper expert from New Mexico (thanks Pete) feel that the "made in USA" blades were common in mid to late production cars in 1967. This saved me much time and money to find the Trico type. My car is a low mile car, I believe these "made in USA" blades are original and it is a very late car 21,526.
