C2 trip odometer bracket

Hello, most knowledgeable corvette restorers. My 1966 corvette is missing the bracket under the steering column that holds the trip odometer cable. I have located this bracket from a 1963, and wonder if it's compatible. thanks.

In a 67 the trip cable is attached thru the steering column support bracket. No additional bracket required. Check your AIM as its possibly the same...

Same for '65, AIM section UPC 9 sht 4, p/n 3839153 support assembly.

65 and 66 Telescoping columns used a separate bracket under the column to attach the odometer reset cable. Not sure what you have with a 63 bracket?

Non tele column 63 bracket is different from 64-66 bracket according to Long Island Corvette catalog
