    75 TACH PROBLEM

I've got a tach problem here folks and can anyone HELP???. My tach operates and at idle it seems fine, but when you rev up the motor or are driving the tach is slow. I mean when I'm traveling at 60 mph the reads 1400rpm instead of around 2600rpm with a 336 rearend. Anybody have some advice to give. Thanks in advance.
    Ken.

Just to venture a guess, you need to probably replace the tach circuit board, which is readily available for around 60 bucks.

I had this problem a few years back and agree that the circuit board is the problem. I sent my tach to J Gardner in Penn. and he fixed it for around 50.00. turn around time as I recall was about 2 weeks. It has worked fine since.

Thanks for the info, I was questioning if it was the print board too.
        I appreciate the HELPPPPPP.
