Not sure what this fastener is on my 67 windshield

Near the base of my '67 windsheild vertical posts, left and right, I removed two, what looked like cotter pins which would have been inserted from the inside out. These protruded through the metal posts and the "A" pillar covers. Since I am planning on bonding those pillar covers back in place today, I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas what those clips might have been from. Maybe they are clips for weather strip or something.

    Thanks
    Scott

I dont know what the heck you are talking about, but there are two push in buttons in the corner of the weather stripping at the top of the pillar posts. When the heads are pulled off, they look like two little wires sticking out of the hole. Is that what you mean? If so just yank them out of there.

        Wayne, you be the man

For not know what I was talking about, I think you hit it right on Yes, they looked like two wires sticking out at the top of the pillar posts.

        Thanks,
        Scott
