I am in need of the driver side exhaust manifold w/o the AIR hole for a 67. The last three digits of the casting number are 827. Dates are not important. If anyone can help please email me. Thanks very much. Mark

Re: Spot on
I was OJ'ing at the NCRS Meet in Orlando 2 weeks ago, and the judges admitted that they couldnt tell the difference between the real thing and the paragon repops. (and some of them seemed like REAL judges, not just Mickey Mouse pretending to be a judge)

Casting numbers, etc.
What about the casting numbers and date codes? I know you can't see some of these when their installed, does any judging go far enough that they would check for the casting and date?
I'm in a similar situation. My 69 has headers instead of original manifolds.
How do you contact Paragon?
There is a listing in the classifieds of Hemmings on-line and in the magazine too by a buy in PA who has an NOS manifold for 67 I think.- Top

Repo manifolds, The difference is...
I bought a set of Paragon's manifolds for a 66 a couple of years ago. They looked great and even had the correct casting dates. However, there IS a difference. The most obvious is the absence of "nipples" (pardon the sexual overtone). If you look at a manifold you'll notice a couple of nickel size circles with little "nipples" (there I go again) in the center. I'm guessing they have something to do with the injection process. All the Repos I have seen to date have the circles but no dot in the center.

Re: Repo manifolds, The difference is...
I asked about that, Bill, and they said they couldnt tell the difference. I think I'm going to buy the repros myself.
