I went to my local junkyard this morning in search of a trim screw. While poking around in the interior of a car I saw and remembered that my headlight dimmer grommet got a deduct for being plastic. I then proceeded to tear out about half a dozen grommets two styles but all made of plastic from 60's era cars. So I decided the judge must be wrong, I checked the JG and although it has a heading Carpet and Dimmer Switch Grommet I could find no reference to it in the text. At this point I remembered that I needed another heater hose clip, I had good luck on Caddys so I went to that section, after finding the clip I though I'd give the Caddy one last try for a rubber grommet. And I'll be dammed there it was a rubber dimmer switch grommet, so my trip was complete scored 3 items for the Western regional that will hopefully add those important points towards my award.

Kevin,
Is the plastic noticably stiffer than the rubber. I have a grommet that appears to be rubber but sometimes soft plastic looks very similiar.
