Does every one know that the ZR-1/C4 Gathering is on at the same time as the Regional?

My question is:- How can NCRS and the ZR-1/C4 Gathering use the same facilities at the same time? Inside and outside.

I had the same question. I have never been to Bowling Green but I am attending this year and plan to PV my '67. I am hoping it will not be too much of a mad house because I already plan to be fairly stressed.

I also noticed on the NCM website there was no posting of the NCRS regional event that I could find. I wonder if the Southeast chapter hosts are aware of this conflict.

The SouthEast Chapter is aware of the C4/ZR-1 gathering. The museum has PLENTY OF ROOM to accomodate both groups. The Regional showfield will be in the paved truck/bus/motorhome parking lot. The C4's will be in the regular parking lot. Trailers will be on the grass field immediately behind the museum. The combination of events should give everyone something to look at. Plus it will expose some of the late model owners to NCRS. After all, they are the future NCRS as us old pharts age out. They also are the future "characters" of this group. Maybe they will tell kind tales of "Old Doc McCagh, or that old man out in Lyle. Be nice to them, them may be kind enough to push our wheelchairs around in twenty or so years

There's no posting because the NCRS regional event is NOT an NCM event! I did the web page for the southeast chapter and have had several exchanges of correspondence with those at the gates of the NCM webpage in an attempt to get it posted.

NCRS with its 16,000 is considered just another Corvette club and the museum can't list them all on their front page. Apparently, the ZR1/C4 event is a museum event and therefore qualifies for front page posting.

I am an NCRS member with a 63 S/W and a 67 BB Conv. I also have a 91 ZR1. I think that having these two groups at the NCM at the same time is great. I have been going to the ZR1 Gathering for the last 5 years and it is a ball. There will be plenty of room for everybody. I also agree that the cross over will be great. I am really looking forward to seeing all of the mid-years and the ZR1's this could be the best show of the year for me...a love for the mid-years and the ZR1's. I look forward to meeting many of you.
