1962 Seats

Do the seats in a 1962 corvette mount with the rug under the bracket leaving the bracket and mounting bolts exposed or does the rug go over the bracket and mounting bolts . This way they are not seen.

Seat track bolts to the bare floor. Carpet goes over the track. Need to slit the carpet to make a flap so the track will fit to the floor.
