54 Vette Electronic Ignition

I have changed my 54 vette to a 12 volt system and would like to know if anyone knows where I can get an electronic ignition system for the distributor in my car. I have tried Pertronix and they do not have a system to fit this 54 vette. I tried an electronic ignition system for a 54 passenger car but it didn't work since the passenger car distributor and vette distributors are different. The vette distributor has a wider cam (point to point about .84")and has tachometer drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mallory makes conversion kits to make conventional point distributors into Unilite electronic distributors - call Summit Racing (800-230-3030) and ask their techs if Mallory makes one to fit your distributor.

Go to www.neutronics.com . They sell a transistor ignition box which is very small and can be triggered by the original points. When you want to NCRS judge, just re-twiddle four wires or so and you're dead on original.
