    CLOCK 1966

    Hi guys
I have a 1966 original clock that stopped working. I was told by an old time car repair friend to remove the clock, open the back, turn it up side down, spray brake part cleaner, let dry and then put a drop of clock oil on each gear. Which I did and it has been working for over a year. Hear is my problem it runs fast about 10 min. per day dose any body know if there is an adjustment to slow it down.

    Re: CLOCK 1966

Boy am I relying on old brain cells here but isn't there a procedure for these electro/mechanical clocks. IIRC, the procedure is to change their sweep pattern by advancing or retarding the clock using the adjusting knob. Anyone still have the 66 Owner's Manual, AIM or Chassis Service Manual? Mine is long gone.

"Resetting the clock provides automatic regulation providing there is an error, either fast or slow, of at least 3 minutes".
