Delco Remy voltage regulator 1119515 for my 1966.

As Bill suggests, for rebuilt go to John. Oth, I have had great luck in salvage yards finging 515s. I have seen them everywhere (not necessarily on Chevys only) and found four or five in like new condition. I tried them on my 66 and all worked well. I never had them tested to see how they regulated though.

If you've got a local alternator/generator rebuild shop in your neck of the woods, they can take your '515 v-reg and bench test/re-adjust to factory specs for you pretty quickly. In fact, most of these guys have a simulator box that mirror's the surrounding electrical system to the v-reg and the test + readjust process can be done pretty quickly on the bench.

Remember a used original regulator from a scrap yard WILL have usage/wear on its contact points and the air gaps dictate the regulator's turn-on/turn-off profile!
