    Clem,

    How obvious would it be if the secondaries were not opening? I just don't seem to have the same acceleration with the original, rebuilt #3367 as with the service replacement #3605 I removed, with the 67 jets. I'll try your suggestion regarding the dab of grease on the secondaries opening stop. It just seems like I need more pedal for the same amount of acceleration now.

        when the carb is working correctly it should be a smooth transision into the secondary opening. if there is a big "jerk" then the secondary is opening too fast and what you feel is a slight "bog" before the power comes on

          The acceleration is smooth, it's just that I felt like I had more acceleration per pedal movement with the other carb on. I'll try putting the 67 jets from the replacement #3605 carb I took off, in the original #3367 on the car now and see if it feels any different. Thanks...

            Clem,

            I readjusted the pump lever to the clearance specified in my Holley book with the throttle wide open. It feels like my acceleration is better now. I'll put the 67 jets from the carb I removed in, and maybe the two combined will give me the acceleration I had before.
