I have a 327 250 hp. I need to replace my clutch assembly - the disc is fairly worn so now is the time. I want to maintain the original "touch" or foot pressure.
I see that Corvette Central has an assembly (pressure plate, disc, etc.) any experience if this is the "proper" replacement?
Also, any other sources to obtain this assembly - maybe locally (So. Ca)?

Last, not mentioned is possibility of having the old clutch you've grown used to rebuilt with a fresh Kevlar face. Figure that'll be about half price what you'll pay for an all new clutch assy...
Some have had bad experience with locally rebuilt cluch assy's, but a fella who does this in our neck of the woods has an excellent reputation for his work, so it 'can' be done right...
