58 T-10 shifter

    58 T-10 shifter

    Does a 58 t-10 shifter have a pull up release on the shifter to get into reverse? I have seen several ncrs cert cars with these shifters. I thought these were on later models. Thanks for your input.

          1959 was the first year for the reverse lock-out, "pull-up" handle for 4 speed shifters on Corvettes.

                  Yup---you were pretty close. I didn't "cheat" by checking the judging manual, though. I don't even have any for C1s.
