"Mike Yager brings his 3800 mile 1954 Corvette out for Bowtie judging. (I know he has one approximately this mileage; it's just an example). On it are old, cracked whitewall tires that appear, well, 51 years old. The car has been stored inside its entire life, and even the paint appears very nice. So are the tires original? I'd say yes."

I saw this car it was a real nice car, the tires even had flat spots in the whitewall where it sat for years.

If you really wont to find NOS tires look for the size marking on the tread , original when new had them . like my NOS 55 tires I have but only use as my spare!!

I've seen it too.
Actually, all the examples are "more or less" accurate. I just don't know if Mike has ever done the Bowtie thing with his 54.
