69 2 port vaccuum res, tank

i have a bad vac leak at the tank and believe it to be a seam , can this be sealed with a lining product in the vehicle? and does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good tank ?

You'll need to remove the tank from the car to repair it; there's no sealer that I know of that you can use to effectively repair the tank "in situ". Once it's out of the car, it can be repaired easily by welding, brazing, silver solder, or, even, JB Weld. If the tank suffers from serious corrosion, then it's best to replace it. The tank is not reproduced, but there are lots of used ones around and, even, a few NOS examples. The vast majority of NOS, though, are of the 3 port configuration. The 3 port configuration will work just fine (with one of the ports plugged, of course), but it's not 100% correct.

Most of the used parts sources like Pacific Corvette, Contemporary Corvette, America's Finest Corvettes, etc. could likely fix you up with a good used tank if you need one. I'd see what the problem is, if any, with yours first, though
