67 brake shields replated, polish or leave dull?

for judging, should I polish them or leave them dull?

Leave them as you recieved them from the plater. They should be zinc dichromate (yellow/gold dye).

Tony,

The shields were done in white and not yellow chromate. The white ran from 65 thru 1975 (I think) and then the yellow chromate wash was applied. The condition of the cad plating runs from very bright to dull. Just whatever comes from the tanks that day is what you'll get.

Platters call the methods clear and yellow wash.
