Getting ready to apply part # to my 69 frame. Wondered about exact location and if more than the one on the pass side was neccessary. AG

On 69s, you should have only one part number stencil on the passenger side frame rail. The stencil should be upside down in front of the right rear wheel. The frames were stacked and stenciled upside down.

My 70 frame part number was 3974600-83X; the "X" started about 9" from the end of the frame rail. Your 69 stencil should be located similarly. The end of the frame rail is fabricated at an angle, so measure the 9" from the OUTSIDE END of the frame rail. The bottom line of stencil characters was about 1/2" from the bottom of the frame rail.
