Realize that a stock 73-and-later hood will have a different "curve" at the outside back corners. To get the correct "look" you will then have to modify your stock 1970 fenders with pieces from a 73 and later car to make them all appear to match. These pieces will have to be grafted onto your body, and the hood and fenders then painted.
I do not know if aftermarket hoods also are made for 73-and-later cars and your 70 body would have to be similarly modified, or if they are made correctly contoured for a 70.
All in all, not usually just as easy as swapping hoods, and usually devalues your car.
