My engine has a build date of Mar. 30 1965. Would a Holley carb 2818 Dated 533 (Translates to 1965/Mar./3rd week} be to close to the assembly of the engine to be correct for judging. Or is this acceptable.
Thanks Mike
The carb was installed at St. Louis, not at Flint Engine, so its date is compared against your car's final assembly date, not the engine assembly date. Sounds like you're in good shape with that date.
