I just got in my repo hose for my LS-5 an I must say I am not to happy with them. the logo is not real sharp, it looks like a kid did them. when you got them from GM they looked good an sharp. I know the # was off,On the GM ones. but I dont think this will judge that well.Has anyone used the repo on the field an got a hit for them.

Re: radiator hose
Lyndon, the repros and the GM hoses are not consistent in the ink stamping quality. I know in the 68-72 classes deductions are not usually taken if the hose has the right part # and the owner/restorer has taken the time to remove the computer generated date code.Dick Whittington- Top

The stampings on the original GM hoses were usually anything but perfect. To me, a perfect stamping would imply that someone used a lot more care than the machine stampings on the original hoses. On the other hand, if the stampings look like they were applied by "elfs from der forest" using a "one-character-at-a-time" hand stamps, then that would be a definitely non-original appearance. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
