    The Lost Corvettes of Brooklyn

I found this information referenced on another forum and found it to be a very interesting read:

If you have access to this forum one of the members took a bunch of pics while visiting the place:

Yes, here's what the guy wrote:

Having located the manager and inquired of these jewels....his initial response was "no corvettes in here", I thought to myself, "that can't be...this has to be the right place".

As the manager walked off I turned back to him and said, "Sir, I know it's been a while but I know this is where we parked them". He turned around with a smile and responded, "they're just where you left them, right over there". He pointed to the darkened corner of the garage to a chain link fence that seemed invisible at first glance. As I approached the gate there was a lone Corvette out side blanketed with 15 years of dirt and dust......fingered in the dust on the rear window was "No one loves these vettes", How true that seemed at the moment.

At a minimum, the guy should have spent another $3,600.00 for some car covers.

We are salivating over something that this guy considers a work in progress. Probably doesnt even have an inventory list.

There was an inventory long ago with the VH-1 give-away. I don't remember where I saw it and doubt I have a copy. It was a big deal at the time, and then most kind of forgot about it. I believe I heard it was sold off in pieces, but looks that that wasn't true.

Most were base engine automatics as they were the cheapest to acquire for the contest.

Still, I would have accepted them quite readily.
