67 seat back locks

Always thought the seat back locks on 67 seats were on the left hand side of both driver and passenger seats. However, just saw two original cars with locks on the right hand side of both seats. Anyone got any information on this?

They are exactly the same seat, RH and LH.

Were these pictures of cars or the real thing? Pictures can be printed backward.

The locks should be on the left side of both seats as they are then most accessible to the driver for tilting the seat forward. AIM shows the locks on the left side.
