Looking for a manifold for 66 BB

Does anyone know where I might find a 66 BB left exhaust manifold #3880827. I need Nov 65 - Feb 66 date. I'm doing a Driveline ad but want other leads.Thanks.

I don't know where you can find such an exhaust manifold. However, keep in mind that most manifolds of that "genre" are likely to be in anything-but-perfect condition. Rust-induced pitting will be quite common. Also, the dates on these manifolds are very hard, if not impossible, to discern when the manifold is mounted on the engine. I don't think that they're judged, either.

So, in order to get a manifold with correct dates, you may be giving up a lot on condition. If it comes to that, I think you'll be losing more than you'll be gaining. In other words, any condition deficiency will be readily apparent while the correct dates will be virtually indiscernable and, essentially, moot.

If you do seek out a correctly dated manifold, though, keep in mind that this manifold CASTING number was machined into two different finished manifold PART numbers. One had AIR fittings (for K-19 equipped cars) and the other without said fittings.

Neal Bridges is one of the best parts guys around for exhaust manifolds and carburetors for old Corvettes.....as well as other hard to find parts. He attends and sets up at most of the big east coast swap meets. A man who can be trusted and a credit to the Corvette hobby....too bad he does not have a computer yet......
