1963 Corvette Patch

I am searching to place a value on a patch I was given by my father. He received it when he purchased his new 1963 Corvette split window coupe. I really don't want to have a 1,000 people offer me $2-$5 for it... So any help or referral you can make is appreciated.


It is in mint condition never sewn, but the backing glue has yellowed some with age.


It is a white felt patch with a red border "CHEVROLET" across the top and "Corvette" in script across the bottom. All lettering is in gold thread and it has the Corvette crossed flags emblem in the center... on flag red the other black&white checkered.


I do have a scan of it if anyone would like to take a closer look.

I've seen one of those offered recently - possibly ebay. You might want to check their archives. Along with the patch Chevrolet issued a plastic ID card (similar to today's credit card) with the owners name, VIN (I think) and key number. Unfortunately both my patch and ID card are currently "missing in action", but they may be lurking somewhere in a "safe" place that I forgot about.
