67 Holley 3810 - Acceptable Date

How far back from the engine assembly date is acceptable for a Holley 3810 carb? My engine was assembled on 11/23/66, and the carb is dated 2nd week of August 66'.

My original door panels are from "Aug 26 1966" for my Dec 19 1966 built 67 coupe. I thought my panels were a long way from assembly production, but maybe white was a rarity for coupes?

Inventory control in those days wasn't what it is today; not unusual.

As Mike said, you're in good shape; carburetors were installed at St. Louis, not at the engine plant, so they're dated back from the car's final assembly date, not from the engine assembly date.
