    Oh oh! C1 brake problem

I have almost all the parts I need to replace the brake system on my 55, BUT- The car has 56-up style rear wheel cylinders. I have new 53-55 cylinders, and new axle lines, but I cannot find a source for what I believe to be brake connector blocks and retaining bolts to connect the lines to the cylinders. I had really hoped to go back to the original setup, but it's gonna be tough if I can't find these bolts and blocks!

            Still no luck...

Checked both of the above, but nothing listed. Sent email, maybe they'll get back to me.

              Anybody got a photo...

of this connection? Is it one piece brass with steel bolt? Does it use copper washers? One or two? Does the steel lline flare nut screw directly into the block, or is there a flare nut/NPT fitting screwed into it?

Dave, Have you tried Danchuk or Classic Chevys in Oklahoma City? I have found many C1 parts at Danchuk. Good luck.

I have had good stuff from Danchuk, but...

the 55 Chevy had a later style cylinder, which eliminated the banjo assembly. Now if you wanted a choke stove cover for your RH 55 (or 56 passenger) manifold, Danchuk has one so exact it may as well be NOS.
