If you want a really cheap one - check out Covercraft - they had some "extras" for $10 - $15. I use them to cover the car when I'm out using it. When it is in the garage - its Back East Car Cover.

Sorry that I wasn't clear. I need a cover for the car, not the hardtop.

        Thanks again, Chris

I use a Back East, flannel lined on my Vette ... would go with anything else ... fantastic cover !!! I just wish it had mirror pockets.

My referrences were for car covers and not just for tops. Back East with the flannel underside is great. But, if you want el Cheapo - Covercraft online has some generatic car covers for about $15 (at least 6 months ago they did).

              Chris,
Backeast covers are excellent and fairly priced. The flannel lining is inexpensive and worth it.

I have the Premium Flannel cover from Corvette America and it has the mirror pocket. It is 7 yrs old and still in great shape.

You could use old sheets or blankets if all you want is to keep dust and the sun off it indoors. A cheap breathable cover would probably be more convenient and easier to handle. I've had a thin cotton cover on my car in my garage for 23 years. That portion of the cover that gets sun through the window for some part of the day has faded considerably. Glad the cover was in place all that time as I suspect the paint in that area would have faded and not matched the rest of the car.

Here's the Covercraft one on sale for under $20. Looks like it'd work great indoors. For indoors, the most important thing is that the cover not trap moisture. http://www.carcoversplus.com/cover_sale.htm

The thick covers, especially those with flannel linings are great for the indoors if that indoors is such a place where the car could get hit - like a garage also used for other things. The padding in the cover provides some protection to the car. Some people don't like flannel linings because it collects abrasive dirt. You should only place these on clean cars.

I just bought a Weathershield cover. It's claim to fame is that it's thin and waterproof. I bought it for outdoor use when I travel. Like to the Cape last September. I installed the antenna hole last night. You need to remove the antenna; fit the cover on the car; and, poke a hole in the cover where the antenna hole is. Not a big deal. It can be done without removing the antenna. But I believe you'd get a more accurate fitting by removing the antenna. They give you a plastic grommet to install around the hole.
