My July 66 car has a standard mirror which appears original with the marking 6-DCA (R) -6 in the lower right hand corner. Judging guide calls for DMI. Was DCA another manufacturer and will it judge ok?
There were bona fide alternate source suppliers to GM besides Donnelly Mirror Inc. DCA is known to be one of them as well as Ajax. Just depends on the specific time frame. Usually the JG books call out the alternate source suppliers when it's known they were actively used in a given model year.
