C1 Hood Weatherstrip

Does CC sell the correct hood ledge weather strip? The one I got from a kit in Carlisle has an odd shape a more acute angle of 75' with a step in the back. Hard to explain!! It does not look like the original rubber that I removed.

I do not know if CC has the correct weatherstrip for C1 applications. They very well may have it. However, I am fairly sure that the weatherstrip for the hood ledge application sold by Dr. Rebuild is very correct as to configuration and texture.

no one, to my knowledge, repo's the 61-62 hood w/s that is exactly like the originals. if you have the original, i'd use it, unless the condition is deplorable. mike

Peter,
You did not state what year car, but if you are talking about the 59-60 front ledge weatherstrip that goes over the radiator to seal it to the hood, then Doc Rebuild makes a perfect repro. His matched the remnants of the original on my 60 to a "T".
