    1954 Corvette tune up data

I have been working on a 54 corvette. Just replaced the distributor drive shaft so that the tach will work. What is the correct dwell for this point setup? Is it the same as the standard 6 cyl Chevy? Also, what is timing information as to advance? I reset it where it was but don't know if that is correct or not.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Ted -

Dwell setting for the six is 40.5*-47.5* (start with .016" point gap). Can't find the base timing spec anywhere - should be in your owner's manual.

Thanks John, I am not the owner and do not have a manual. Hopefully someone will have.

Motor Manual of proper vintage says 41-47 on dwell. Align ball mark on flywheel.
