C2 L79 Air Filter Element

My 67 L79 had a Purolator A60074 air filter element on it. It fit well but needed to be replaced, I was not able to find this filter so I began searching other brands:

Fram CA136 - too fat and not wide enough
KN E1650 - too fat and not wide enough, plus didn't look original.

I did find a WIX 42095 at a local Auto Zone and it fits perfectly and cost $5. What are others using?

Most I sse on the judging field are Paragon Reproductions. I believe that AC still makes a version of the original AC-212

The Purolator A60074 shouold still be available. Also you can use the following; Pro Line PLA-60074 sold at Pep Boys stores and STP nSA-136 sold in autozone stores and others. Both look just like the Purolator i.e. black and white. I have been stocking up on these filters and oil filters.

I've had my '66 L79 a couple of months now and ran into the same problem. I finally found a purolator 60074 that happened to be on the shelf(looked like it had been there awhile) at Kragen's. I was surprised myself how difficult it was to find.
