Headlight buckets

Hello

On my 62 corvette that i'm putting together,I noticed the headlights and the buckets have numbers on them. 1 & 2 ...Can someone tell me exactly where they they go. ( example, which side, inner or outer, drivers side or passenger side) .

Take a look at these photos. There should be a R or L in front of the 1 or 2 on the cups. Use chenige as user name and password if needed.

R2 bucket it furthest to the right. R1 is inboard of R2.

2 headlamps go outboard and 1 headlamps are inboard.

I do not have a picture of the LH side of the cups but they will only go in one way once you put the lamps in place but I am pretty sure the 2 goes outboard.

I have a problem with the fit of both the subbody and the body bezel. My car has some repair in the left fender and lower valance panel. Hit at one time. The old subbody was bent to fit and the outer lamp cup was squashed a lttle. Most of the fiberglass tabs where the screws went in were filled in in the back. I dremeled them down so the J nuts slipped on and bought a new subbody. Unfortunately the fit is bad. Wiil have to repair when I paint the body.
