Winter Regional

I realize the Winter Regional in Florida is eight months away, but I'm a bit confused on the correct dates. The May-June 2005 Driveline gives the dates as January 26-29 and the Florida Chapter website lists January 19 -22. I assume and hope the website is correct. Can anyone give me the correct set in stone dates. I already have room reservations for the 19-22 dates and would hate to purchase airfare for the wrong week.

The later date is correct as Florida moved the date so as not to conflict with the Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale.

Thanks Dick. When was this change made and why hasn't the Florida Chapter changed it on their website site? I know you have no info on the last half of the question. Guess Barrett Jackson controls a lot in the car scene. Guess I have rooms for the wrong week. The Driveline for March-April 2005 has the January 19-22 dates Now the fun begins.

Something's wrong here. I just called the Comfort Suites in Kissimmee and they have not been notified of the change. Also emailed the Florida Chapter about it and their mailbox is full so my email didn't go through. I hope someone involved in the planning of this meet can clarify what's happening and respond on this site. Apparently The Driveline and you know what's happening. The Comfort Suites are expecting everyone to show a week early. That should be interesting. Nice vacation without the Corvette theme.

Here's hoping the Days Inn Suites think the Florida Regional is a week early as I have stayed there and do not recommend the Days Inn Suites to anybody.

Comfort Suites are said to be nice and are surely convenient to the show and swap field.

I stayed at the Comfort Suites last year. Very nice accomodations. I stayed at the Days Inn Suites the year before. No comment if you get my drift. Sure wish someone from the Florida Chapter or NCRS leadership would confirm the correct dates on this forum. I'm sure Dick is correct, he's very savvy on these types of details. But, I still have to book my flight and change? my hotel accomodations if I can. Ain't life a b......?
