Recommendation for a C2 radio restorer?

Can someone recommend a good (and reliable) restorer for a factory AM/FM radio from my '67 Coupe?

    Thanks,
    Tony

Check the archives, there was a rccommendation for an outfit named "Elliotts" radio repair that I subsequently used a few years ago who did fine work. They were in PA, but I did not keep the paperwork...

        Thanks Sander, but...

...I think I'll have my American radio fixed in America.

          Tony,

I was curious what the problem is with your radio. The one in my '66 won't stay tuned to stations and I'd like it repaired. Other than that it's fine. I'll be looking for a repair recommendation myself, hopefully finding one here in California. I'm tired of sending parts across the country, only to later find there was a place here I could have used.

Rob. I just bought a survivor '67 coupe, but the radio is as dead as my Kansas City Royals. I'll bench test it since I couldn't get a sound out of it before I took it out of the car. I'll email you when I get a good recommendation.

              thanks,
              Tony

I've used Orwin Middleton in Camarillo Ca, he is a retired Delco radio guy, very reasonable and quality work. Search the archives for his name or I have it at work.

I am looking to get my 65's reworked and have had a couple of reference's for Doctor Don's in Texas. You can check out his price's at www.doctordons.com. I have been told he gives a one week turn around.

Charles Siegfried is in Sebastopol California. I know he does C1 radios. Not sure about others.

I don't recommend Dr. Dons. I sent my 67 radio there and had to return it again once and it is still not right. I don't think they burn-in their work since they have such a quick turnaround. Fast work is good but the owner ends up performing the quality control step. He is a nice guy however.
