    C1 Temp Sender

Should I use any thread sealer when installing the temperature sender on a 57 2x4 intake?

Not functionally necessary - tapered pipe threads seal by interference of the thread flank forms if the threads are in anywhere near decent condition. However, a little anti-seize (with visible traces removed) does wonders for later removal of the sender without bringing the aluminum threads with it.

Will anti-sieze suffice on the heater hose fittings as well?

        Steve -

Yup - I use anti-seize on all NPT threads for ease of subsequent removal years down the line; have had too much agony removing them from castings to which they have become "wedded" over the years.
